Track Name: Collar Bomb
Well, it's taken some time to get things in line and figure what you're all about- We know you're not very nice, put Jimmy on ice to keep him from singin' out

And then Kenny came on, a cane on his arm, sporting a great big smile- And when the new deal was made, and Brian obeyed all your planning seemed worthwhile

All along you're the victim, with your head held high - A collar-bomb for a misfit reaching for the sky

I wonder what it was said, the thoughts in your head to make the matter move along- Were you calling the shots? Kenny locking the parts that made it all go wrong?

And did you wake up at night, and think it was right to play your hand that way? Tell me Marjorie Diehl, how does it feel to know you had the final say?

'Cause all along you're the victim, with your head held high - A collar-bomb for a misfit reaching for the sky
Track Name: Traveling Jesus
I will slap your hand and I will tell you "No"! - And your mother will tell you that she told you so...

That this baby in a manger was not meant for a score- he is sculpture and ceramic and serene decor so

Do not think that your cool caper is not seen as a crime because I see you and I know your every move

You may not take away this baby just because you want him too; for that which you covet will lead me back to you

I'm a follower of the traveling Jesus- and he tells me exactly where to go - And where will you be when I find you? And will you say that you just didn't know?

Feelings of faith and hope and trust have been discarded and delayed since you made off with this treasured sign of joy

The hand of God may not be on you but the long arm of the law will put a stop to wicked ways and reinstate this boy

I'm a follower of the traveling Jesus- and he tells me exactly where to go - And where will you be when I find you? And will you say that you just didn't know?
Track Name: Hanna
Hanna had her haircut yesterday
and now you can see her eyes
she took a small step and she
said she'd stay
and it should come as no surprise

'Cause Hanna had a hate for anybody
that wasn't like her, they didn't understand
She lived a lie she learned to study
and she decided to take a stand

She's giving up Goth, she's finding herself
and finding new ways to survive
Unbroken she stands
in finding new ways to be alive

Hanna had a closet full of black clothes
that slowly turned gray as time moved on
She took a hard look at her morbid prose
and she decided those days were gone

She's leaving her past, and reaching at last
convictions that teach her to thrive
now immortal she'll stay
in finding new ways to be alive

Hanna had her haircut yesterday
and now you can see her eyes
Track Name: Outside And Smile
There's a woman in line trying to ignore Trying to ignore those girls
"Those girls" she thinks, "are making such a ruckus; I never would have acted that way"
And all three girls are laughing at the pictures And pointing at the pictures in a magazine
A magazine that tells them, a magazine that shows them How they ought to be
And now I'm wishing that I could stay behind And hear them say "whatever" to the woman in the line- And the girls would roll their eyes, And the woman rolls her eyes And I would step outside and smile
There's a man in the parking lot cursing at the carts He's cursing at the carts in the cart corral
He's cursing 'cause it's full as he sees me walking by And he feels compelled to tell me what is on his mind
And he tells me "Kids are lazy, and they should do their job And what the hell is happening to this country of ours?"
And now I'm wishing that I was in my car Driving far away from the man who curses carts And the carts will go inside, The man will go back home And I can go outside and smile

But I have to stop my car and fill it up with gas
And listen to the lady who is yelling at her kid

"I told you not to touch that, and don't talk back to me,
And if I hear one more word out of you,
I swear to God, I won't give you ANYTHING!"

Then the voices and the crying are muffled by the car
That pulls out of the station like a bat out of hell-

And now I'm wishing that I could be a mirror
And show that unkind mother what a bitch she is
But her car's already gone
And mine's already full
So I take a deep breath outside
And smile.
Track Name: Cessna Devotion
A dark starlit sky in Alberta- Randy couldn't wait for the sun- Priming the engine, setting his sites- Today he will end what her daddy's begun

Fast asleep folks were awakened by a strange and unmistakable sound- a plane in the distance coming in low it was- time for the show

Cessna Devotion, a true kind of love - Only the fools couldn't see it - It's just one man in a two-seater flying above- determined not to be alone

Bankin' left, a house in the distance, Donna had to know how he felt- over the tree line, under the wire, toss out your cigarette and fasten your belt -

He's calling in over the airwaves- "Ya know, no one takes me seriously- I'm runnin' on empty but I'm in control- Oh Donna don't ever forget about me"

Cessna Devotion, undying love- insane, like a dream, only real - it's just one man in a two-seater flying above determined not to be alone

Cessna Devotion
Track Name: Ran Down The Wrong Man
Carve a niche in this great big world and a tragedy came unfurled- In his head a man feels insane, give him a rope and he'll surely hang

Though it wasn't the best of times, it was never a life of crime- They didn't hear what he had to say, now they're putting him in today

But you done ran down the wrong man, you done ran down the wrong man, You done ran down the wrong man

As a man ponders his own trials time will stretch to a country mile- Through his heart he will know the past, through his actions the die is cast

Though it wasn't the best of times, it was never a life of crime- They didn't hear what he had to say, now they're putting him in today

(chorus)
Track Name: A Little Prayer
I never thought I'd be here swimming with the sharks but they pay me off the grid you see- And every time I tell 'em that there's something wrong with the car they're tryin' to give to me - Like the tail pipe is draggin' and it's shootin' sparks at the drivers who are tailing me- the boss'll simply smile and lay my money down and hand me another key

(And I say) gimmee that cash, let me make that stash, let me hit the road and make it pay - All I need are four wheels, a little gas, and a little prayer for you to say

The cops'll be here anytime, I know they will for all the smoke that's comin' out the back - My Valiant makes an effort just to crest a hill, but I bleed the heat and pass a Mack - My exit's comin' up, just as the gauges peak- so I grip the wheel and make the turn - I park the car, I toss the keys and take a leak- then I step outside and watch it burn

(Chorus 2)

I see the tire belts are gleaming in the sun as I start the car and hit the trail- She's got a little shimmy but she's holding on 'til I kick the spurs and start to sail - My K car starts to shakin' like a bowery bum who hasn't had a drink in over a week- I wonder what they'll give me if I make it home? 'Cause it's the cars that give this job it's mystique --

(Chorus 3)

Maybe some primer, maybe some wire, and a little prayer for me -

Maybe some duct tape, maybe a tire, and a little prayer for me -

Maybe some bondo, maybe some gum, and a little prayer for me -

Maybe some vinyl, maybe some rum, and a little prayer for me -
Track Name: Animal Cracker Jackpot
Well there's a new land down North Carolina where a circus show was set to begin- She was a pin-up, became a Wyoming beauty, hit the road and started travelin'

Moved on to Utah, steppin' out with a boy, they were makin' some plans, makin' some noise- He started runnin' like a sensible man when he saw her mind unravelin'- It was an animal cracker jackpot on parade

A sweet obsession, a dose of animal lust put this foxy lady hot on his tail- Flew off to England in pursuit of her lover, grabbed him up and hit the dusty trail

A country cottage all made up for her man, a silky suit for his legs, a velvet cuff for his hands- Just like a rabbit slippin' outa the snare he told a story that would land her in jail - It was an animal cracker jackpot on parade- Including all the ones you never knew they made

Forget your lions and your tigers and your elephants too, she'll make you scratch your head and wonder "what's the next thing she'll do?" - Picture a dodo with a pitbull on a three legged horse - She'll tell you she's not crazy but consider the source

She's an animal cracker jackpot on parade- Including all the ones you never knew they made

A Black Maria and three months in the slammer, jumped her bail and disappeared in the night- A slow migration put her back into Utah lookin' for the light of her life

She's gettin' tired from being wired to a long travelogue, she's gone to the dogs in South Korea where they clone 'em by numbers- Barnum never saw such a sight

As an animal cracker jackpot on parade- Including all the ones you never knew they made
Track Name: Gypsy Reflection
An unsettled calm lulls the air for the birds,
a chaos is covered in shade

One woman leans on an oar on the dock
despairing the wind in her hair

An aspect of life that rolls with the tide,
a rudderless surrender; a calm

One man is rowing at odds with himself,
on the shore is a solemn fair well
Track Name: Six Point Two
Six point two, six point two
That's the miles from me to you
from me to you

Not too far, not too far
in a car from me to you
from me to you

Took some time, took some time
made this rhyme, from me to you
from me to you

Here we start, here we start
sent my heart from me to you
from me to you
Track Name: Unbroken Lines
She steps off the curb
and she waves down a cab
and she will linger over wine
She has waited a lifetime,
she pages through the past
with her finger
tracing unbroken lines

All of her days worn
restless and tidy
moves through her day without change;
but in a moment you'll see her
and you'll both make a plan
Rest assured they're the same

She steps off the curb
and she waves down a cab
and she will linger over wine
She has waited a lifetime,
she pages through her past
with her finger
tracing unbroken lines-
Unbroken lines
